Broken civilizations get rebuilt at the local community level as families, businesses, churches and small civil governments begin to learn what those local institutions can be. That is happening right now in the US, primarily in rural counties.

We explore real-life reformation here in this informed, online community.

He Puts the Lonely in Families

Former Muslim Ayaan Hirsi Ali comes to Christ and discovers the supernatural Christian heritage of West, and how worldly families destroyed it. She is now married and living in the US.

"I like Os Guinness’s analogy of the cut flower civilization. I find it very vivid in regard to non-Christian conservative parents. Conservative non-Christian families are cutting themselves off from our foundational roots.

Let’s think about what happens to a plant when the roots die. What happens when you pick flowers and put them in a vase? Obviously, the flowers wither. And if you cut conservative morals off from Christianity, they fade.

"This decline is exactly what we have seen in the West over the last century and a half. Some people say the decay dates back to the Enlightenment. It’s a gradual fading that goes on and on. My fear is that we have landed in a place of moral wilderness.

"For the West to restore itself, it has to rediscover and revive its biblical roots. I insist that the biblical roots matter most, morally and spiritually. If our moral and spiritual roots in the Bible are cut off, we’re asking for a great deal of trouble. Christianity is the only religion that can rejuvenate the West because of the freedom of conscience it preaches. It does not demand or impose on individuals that they must actually believe in God. You’re encouraged to have faith, you’re invited to come to Christ. Like Os Guinness’s analogy of the cut flower civilization. I find it very vivid in regard to non-Christian conservative parents. Falling in Love With the Left

“It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the (revolutionary) Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy…”

–George Orwell, 1984

No More Defense of the Faith

Christian Britain has been gone a long time. But the Crown finally held a funeral, bestowing King Charles, earlier "The Defender of the Faith," a new royal title: “Protector of the Space for Faith within the Multi-faith Nation.”

A world-historical societal transformation is taking place before our very eyes, and yet few have taken notice. Britain, the erstwhile leader of the Western world and the foundation and source of English-speaking civilization, is in its last days as a free society, and will soon become an Islamic state. Yet despite the mountains of evidence that this transformation is taking place, many will still deny that it is happening at all. They may not even admit it when it overtakes them personally.

A Disease of the Soul

“I thought being on the left was a mental problem. The empirical evidence is so overwhelming that it never worked anywhere, and they refused to accept it. But what I discovered is that being on the left is a disease of the soul. The left is built on envy, hatred, resentment, and unequal treatment under the law. They are very violent, and since they have no way or arguments to answer, they go for physical violence.”

Argentinian President Javier Milei
