Broken civilizations get rebuilt at the local community level as families, businesses, churches and small civil governments begin to learn what those local institutions can be. That is happening right now in the US, primarily in rural counties.

We explore real-life reformation here in this informed, online community.

There's a Flaw in the Foundation

AI can't think because it's a binary language model. It sees patterns or creates patterns that aren't there, so it makes things up all the time. It cannot reason.

Adds Charles Hugh Smith:

1. The security of AI chatbots is Swiss cheese.
2. AI undermines real learning / education.
3. AI Slop is taking over the web.
4. AI tools con / defraud individuals.
5. AI fraud is unlimited--fake songs by real artists, deepfakes, AI designed ransomware, the list is endless.
8. AI psychosis--AI chatbots are addictive and destructive to mental health.
7. AI agents degrade already poor services.
8. AI data centers are squandering capital, water and electricity on a vast scale.

Is Artificial Reality Intelligent or Insane?

A-I has already quit operating as-advertised. It has lost the “I” part. A-I does its thing by rapidly combing through the Internet to evaluate and seize information that you request. Increasingly, A-I colonizes the Internet with second-hand, third-hand, and so forth A-I-generated information. The more territory A-I seizes on the Web, and the more it trains itself on recursive feedbacks of its own garbage, the more distorted the output gets. As that occurs, A-I becomes increasingly abstracted from Reality, which is exactly what happens when a person goes insane. So, expect an exponential rise in incorrect content that would, in theory, become a pretty serious problem when you ask A-I to run things like systems we depend on, the electric grid, harvesting crops, warfare. . . .

Secondly, as that process runs, and probably before it gets very far, A-I looks like it will wreck the financial system, which, in turn, would crater the economy of everyday life — the ability of people to earn...

How Many Crimes, And At What Cost?

According to the German NIUS news outlet, a total of 2,802,915 criminal cases involved an immigrant in Germany from when Merkel opened the borders in 2015 to 2024. When including immigration offences, this figure rises to over 5.1 million crimes.

The true scale of immigration’s impact on crime in Germany is likely to be much greater, however, given that the statistics do not include permanent residents or migrants who have obtained German citizenship.

Furthermore, many German girls stopped reporting sex crimes committed against them when it became clear that they would be charged or otherwise humiliated by a politically correct regime.

Note: in 2015 Hungary erected fences to keep aggressive criminal aliens out. Today there is not one illegal migrant in Hungary.

Hubris is Deadly

Short book review by Robert Barnes:
The War That Ended Peace: The Road to 1914.

Reveals the idiocy of elites that led to a war that scarred the world for a century to come, bringing down centuries-long empires in a mere half-decade across the continent, from the islands controlling a world so broad they say the sun never slept on it, across the six-century old family governing much of Europe to the Asian empire whose sudden collapse brought us the Mideastern wars of today, to the end of the continent with a three-century old Russian empire still reeling from its fall. The British Empire: gone. The Hapsburg empire: gone. The Ottoman Empire: gone. The Russian Empire: gone. What took three to six centuries to build, wiped out in less than half a decade. Oh, and it sowed the seeds for the Great Depression, another World War, the rise of Nazism, Fascism and Communism. The most disastrous war in world history. This book gives a glimpse at how it all came about. The greatest threat to ...
