This was the right call:
EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was made to leave the room during Trump’s meeting with European leaders in Washington because she is not a an elected leader. There is no singular European people or unified European national interest on behalf of which von der Leyen could ever speak.
She has no meaningful budget, she commands no army and she has no political legitimacy. Her entire career since then has been a product of back room deals, internal party pecking orders and Angela Merkel’s patronage.
She owes her present position largely to Emmanuel Macron’s political triangulations.
Plaintiffs allege:
No safety testing: Neither the CDC nor FDA has ever studied the long-term, combined effects of the full childhood schedule — despite two decades of warnings from the Institute of Medicine (2002, 2013).
27 years of silence: By law, HHS must file biennial reports to Congress on vaccine safety efforts. Not a single report has been issued since 1998.
