Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) accused the federal government of breaking the compact with the states following a Supreme Court ruling on Monday that cleared the way for the Border Patrol to remove razor wire installed by Texas along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Texas disagrees with the Court's opinion and will ignore it, continuing to defend its borders from the out-of-control invasion using state law enforcement and the Texas National Guard.
In a statement, Abbott said, “President Biden has refused to enforce [immigration] laws and has even violated them.”
This conflict will set many new precedents. Two Democratic congressmen are urging Biden to federalize the Texas Guard and put an end to the Constitutional Texas war against hostile invasion. Will Texas stand its ground?
