Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science. We should free ourselves from the naïve belief in immature climate models, say more than 1,600 scientists in the declaration attached. Their urgent message: "There is no climate emergency, so stop using fake science to make emergency policies which destroy the liberties of citizens and centralize government powers."
American foreign policy must consider not only the condition of allied nations today but also the direction or trajectory in which they are moving. European leadership restricting freedom of speech and banning entry to peaceful activists cannot be dismissed as purely domestic when it affects American citizens and raises questions about the values on which the transatlantic alliance rests.
