Today, the House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2024, but failed to include any provisions to fix lingering issues within the Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program. H.R.3808 - The Afghan Allies Protection Act of 2023 -- could still be brought to the House floor for a vote if enough reps push it forward. But will they? Or will America abandon those who are left behind?
