Three FBI agent whistleblowers, Marcus Allen, Garrett O’Boyle and Steve Friend testified in front of a House committee against the weaponization of the FBI that sought to have parents who spoke out at school board meetings labeled as ‘domestic terrorists’; the agency sought to recruit spies and informants inside traditional Catholic church communities; the FBI worked hand-in-hand with social media platforms over the last two elections to censor and silence conservatives online (including some political candidates); they worked with Bank of America (BoA) in obtaining confidential banking records collected in Washington, DC during the January 6 protest without correct legal process and highlighted gun ownership; and the FBI intentionally inflated data to make domestic extremism out to be a larger threat than it is in reality.
